Press release - 18, March 2008>>> Download the press release The Mondial Spa & Beauté strengthens its positionThe third edition of The Mondial Spa & Beauté trade show, dedicated to professionals in the Wellness, Beauty, Cosmetics, and Spa industries, was held on March 8, 9, and 10th in Paris at the Palais des Congrès. There was a general agreement from all of the participants that in several ways it was an unprecedented success. Attendance upNearly 400 different brands were represented at this year’s Mondial Spa & Beauté, to introduce their products, their latest innovations, and to establish fruitful relationships with the numerous visitors to the trade show. Their numbers were about 12,000 (11,870 to be exact), a few hundred more than the previous year: and more importantly, there was a significant increase in the frequentation in attendance over the three days, where the majority returned for two or the three complete days of the event. A rich conference programTwo simultaneous conference cycles were offered to the trade show participants. Numerous (almost 50) and diverse in terms of thematic content, multi-national origin of the guest speakers, and bilingual in format (in English and French), these free conferences appealed to a wide audience. A promising successOn March 8, 9, and 10th, the Mondial Spa & Beauté was an outstanding success appreciated by Wellness, Beauty, Cosmetic, and Spa professionals due to the organizational professionalism of all the participants involved: the exhibitors with the promotion of their equipment, products, and innovative know-how, the visitors seeking advice and discovery, and the guest speakers chosen for their diversity and depth of knowledge. Among them, we can site Madame Magdeleine Mondoloni and Madame Régine Ferrère, President and CEO of the CNEP, Alain Masazza, International Director of the Sofitel Spa (Accor group), Doctor Eric Light, President of the International Medical Spa Association, Erwan Madec, Director of Thalgo Spa Management, or Adriana Karembeu, Creator of the AKD skincare brand, who illuminated the trade show with her presence. |
